Estimate the whole system

The motherboard, memory, storage, fans, pumps and USB devices also consume power. Use a system-level estimate rather than only two headline component ratings.

Leave headroom

Check connectors

Wattage alone does not guarantee compatibility. Verify the PSU provides the correct GPU power connections and enough CPU/EPS connectors for the motherboard.
