How to Choose the Right PC Case

A case is part of the compatibility system, not just decoration.

Motherboard fit

Confirm support for the board’s form factor, such as Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX or E-ATX.

Component clearance

Check maximum GPU length, CPU cooler height, PSU dimensions and radiator support. Configuration choices can change these limits.

Airflow

Good intake and exhaust paths help the CPU and GPU coolers do their jobs. Consider mesh area, included fans and practical cable routing.

Buildability

Tool access, cable space, removable panels and fan/radiator mounting options can make a major difference during assembly and upgrades.
