For a gaming-first PC, 32GB is a practical starting point for gaming plus normal background apps. Move to 64GB when you already have memory-heavy workloads such as large creation projects, virtual machines or unusually heavy modding. Extra unused RAM does not replace a stronger GPU or CPU.
When 32GB is the practical target
For a new gaming-focused build, 32GB gives substantial room for modern games, launchers, voice chat, browsers and normal background apps. It is a sensible default for the midrange and high-end presets in RigEden.
When 64GB makes sense
Consider 64GB when the PC also handles memory-heavy creation work, large development workloads, virtual machines, unusually heavy modding or other tasks you already know exceed 32GB.
Do not ignore the memory platform

Where the money goes instead
